30-day money-back guarantee
Every Receiptile order is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email info@receiptile.com within 30 days of receiving your Receiptile Tile and we will send you return instructions. To qualify, contact us within that 30-day period and return the Tile and its included components to us. Once we have received the returned Tile (or otherwise agreed with you how the return will be handled), we will refund the eligible purchase price — everything you paid for that Tile and its associated subscription — to your original payment method.
There are no restocking fees and no cancellation fees, and you do not need the original packaging. This guarantee applies to both the annual and monthly plans and does not limit — it is in addition to — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to start a return
- Email info@receiptile.com with your order number within 30 days of delivery
- We will reply with return instructions and cover reasonable return shipping
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method once we receive the returned Tile, and typically appear within 10 business days depending on your bank
Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us straight away if your Tile arrives damaged, is faulty, or is not what you ordered. We will replace it or refund you in full, including shipping, at your choice. Hardware is also covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, as described in our Terms of Service.
Subscription cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us — there are no cancellation fees. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, and your service continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, unless we deactivate it earlier as part of an approved refund. Unless the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise, cancelling does not automatically refund amounts already paid outside the 30-day money-back guarantee. The hardware remains yours, and features that depend on an active subscription stop working once your subscription ends.
European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you additionally have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification. In practice our 30-day money-back guarantee is broader and will usually be the easier option.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
