Same sale. Better handover.

Receiptile countertop Tile

A digital receipt from the sale—not just a link to a website.

  • Keep your familiar checkout
  • Keep a paper option
  • 10–15 min for most supported setups

Start with what you use

Which POS is on your counter?

Choose your system to see the connection available today, what you need and the next step.

Available now

Square, connected through the cloud.

Connect your Square account to Receiptile and choose the location your Tile should follow. Normal-sale receipt data comes through the direct cloud connection.

What stays the same

Keep taking payments in Square. Retain the supported printer fallback for manual reprints, and keep a paper option for customers who need one.

Square has two paths: cloud for normal sales, plus a POS printer connection for supported reprints. You do not need the Windows Print Router for the cloud path.

Printer route available

Shopify POS, through its printer workflow.

On supported Shopify POS setups, Receiptile is added as a customer-receipt printer destination. Your team completes the sale in Shopify POS as usual.

What stays the same

Keep your Shopify checkout and payment process. Only the customer-receipt destination changes; other printer assignments should stay untouched.

This is the POS printer route—not a direct Shopify cloud/API integration. Direct cloud support is coming soon.

Printer route available

Lightspeed, with the right printer route.

Receiptile can receive customer-receipt output through supported Lightspeed printer setups. Tell us which Lightspeed product and device you use so we can match the instructions.

What stays the same

Keep selling in Lightspeed. Leave kitchen, bar, label and order-printing routes assigned to their existing printers.

Lightspeed products and versions differ. We check your exact setup; the direct cloud/API connection is coming soon.

Let’s check your setup

A Windows till? Meet the Print Router.

The Receiptile Print Router is a Windows application that can send supported receipt output from your till to Receiptile. It provides another connection option for compatible Windows and legacy systems.

What stays the same

Keep the POS your team already knows. Route customer receipts only, leaving operational printers and payment equipment alone.

Some tills need a network-printer route; others need the Print Router. Send us your setup before downloading or changing anything.

Let’s check your setup

Not on the list doesn’t mean it won’t work.

Many POS systems share receipt-printer workflows. Send us the name of yours and how it prints today—we’ll check whether there’s a supported Receiptile connection.

What stays the same

No need to change printer settings just to find out. We’ll identify the next step from your existing setup.

We’ll tell you whether a supported route is available, needs further checking or is not supported. No blanket compatibility promises.

These are connection options, not automatic approval of every model or version. We confirm your exact setup before you change your receipt workflow.

A small change at the counter

Your sale stays familiar.

The connection happens behind the receipt. The customer gets a different way to take it.

Complete the sale

Your team uses its familiar POS and payment process.

Send the receipt

The supported cloud, printer or Print Router route sends the customer receipt to Receiptile.

Let the customer tap

A compatible phone opens the digital receipt. Keep a paper option for anyone who needs it.

Before you buy

The questions that matter at checkout.

Can I keep my paper receipt printer?

Yes—a paper option can remain part of a supported setup. How staff choose or reprint a paper receipt depends on the POS. We check that path with you; Receiptile does not mean every customer must use a phone.

What about kitchen, bar and label printers?

Receiptile is for customer receipts. Leave kitchen, bar, docket, label and report printers on their existing routes. A setup test should confirm those printers still work normally.

Will my cash drawer still open?

If the drawer connects through your existing receipt printer, keep that printer connected until the drawer has been tested. Do not remove it assuming the Tile will replace the drawer connection. We help identify the right arrangement for your till.

Do I need to install software?

It depends on your connection. Square Cloud uses the Receiptile web app to connect your account. Supported POS printer routes use the POS printer settings. The Windows route may require the Receiptile Print Router application on the till.

How long does setup take?

Allow around 10–15 minutes for most supported setups once you have power, Wi-Fi details and access to the POS settings. Managed networks, complex printer setups or multiple tills can take longer. Set up one till and test it before rolling out.

Does the customer need an app or Wi-Fi?

No app is required to open a receipt on a supported NFC-enabled phone. The phone needs internet access, which can be its own mobile data—it does not need to join the business Wi-Fi. Customers without a suitable phone should still have a paper option.

Does it work if the internet goes down?

Receiptile needs internet to deliver digital receipts. Keep an appropriate paper fallback and follow your POS provider’s offline-payment process. Do not rely on the Tile as an offline receipt or payment system.

Are Shopify and Lightspeed cloud integrations live?

Not yet. Their supported connection today is through the POS printer workflow. Direct cloud/API connections are coming soon. Square already has a direct cloud connection.

What about split bills, refunds or required receipt details?

Those workflows depend on the POS and connection method. Include them in your setup check and test the transaction types your business uses. Where a fiscal or certified printer is required, keep it in place; Receiptile is not a blanket replacement for local receipt requirements.
